On Wednesday, November 2, join VMI director and creative non-fiction mentor Betsy Warland, who’ll be reading from her latest book, Oscar of Between: A Memoir of Identity and Ideas. Since its publication last spring, Oscar has received outstanding reviews.

Melanie Brannagan Frederiksen  wrote in the Winnipeg Freepress: “Warland’s Oscar of Between is an astonishing book by a truly luminous writer. Intellectually and emotionally brave, there isn’t a word that doesn’t ring deeply, deeply true.”

So don’t miss out! Join Betsy at the Book Warehouse on Main Street on Wednesday, November 2nd. Maureen Palmer and Michael Pond will also be there with their book, Wasted: An Alcoholic Therapist’s Fight For Recovery in a Flawed Treatment System.
