Donate to the Fellowship
In the inaugural and secondary years of the Fellowship, we received remarkable applications from across Canada and all over the world. It is a great privilege for us at VMI to support writers who have both a powerful story to tell and the profound desire to to tell it.
We would like to reach as many writers as we can to match them with the best mentor possible to guide their specific project and reduce barriers as much as possible. We believe in facilitating a cross-cultural community of writers that expands beyond borders, and assists writers as they create work of exceptional literary merit.
With your financial support we will expand the Fellowship to fund other deserving writers facing barriers. Whether it is a partial contribution given in the name of your favourite English teacher, an entire Fellowship donated in memoriam of a loved one, or offering to cover the reading fees for any number of Fellowship applications at $50 each (which are waived for applicants), your support will help a writer with talent receive the literary mentorship for which VMI is renowned.
All donors to the Yosef Wosk VMI Fellowship, unless they wish to be anonymous, will be recognized on our website and by the Fellow at our annual reading. Note that we do not have charitable status and cannot issue tax receipts at this time. Please contact us with any queries here. Thank you for your support!
